We built OK! Fire Kits right here in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia — as two local families who love our community and our beautiful outdoor lifestyle.
Living in the Okanagan means witnessing the devastating reality of wildfire season firsthand. Every summer, we see our forests burn, our air fill with smoke, and our frontline heroes pushed to their limits. We realized that so many catastrophic roadside wildfires start as small, completely avoidable incidents: a blown tire sparking in dry grass, an overheated engine, an electrical short, or even litter and glass carelessly thrown on the side of the road.
We recognized a critical gap in emergency response: when a fire ignites on a remote shoulder or highway, it takes precious time for emergency crews to arrive, allowing a tiny flame to escalate into a major disaster. We set out to create a solution that bridges that gap—something rugged, reliable, and specifically engineered for vehicles. By combining forces as families, we developed the ultimate vehicle fire safety kit, empowering everyday drivers with the commercial-grade car fire extinguisher and roadside safety equipment needed to safely and instantly suppress a fire before it has a chance to spread.
